Hi Ruiwen, well the IT department did the annual maintenance of
the labs, carelessly wiped out ALL the MAX / MSP /
Jitter applications of 20 computers.
Two weeks ago, I have informed and reminded the IT staffs, they
need to clone the apps, coz the process to re-install the apps are
really tedious and complicated, the license only assign to one
computer at a time, no bulk license for this app.
We already maxed up our re-installed quotas. And the school
could not buy the new versions, due to some Gov. Financial
issues.
So yup right now I have additional works to do, negotiate with
distributor and the US manufacturer etc... sigh... And we only have
one week left before the school starts!
:'( NOOOOOOO, they forgot!!! URghhh! That's why I am kind of
upset atm. But I would use the weekend to cool myself off...
Hopefully the distributor will be able to help, we have to wait
the reply from the US side. I have informed their immediate boss,
he is also disbelieved that they make such stupid mistakes. He is
doing his best to help me too.
I hope I would not have to listen to the
Screaming from the faculties when school
opens.
Yes Shanghai is nice (except the gruesome weather, it was
average 38˚c there!!!) But great food there ( talk about the
Xiaolongbao ) and it's really Cosmopolitan there :)
Ohh I climbed all the way up to Taishan (It's 1545 metres (5069
feet) tall) :p
Beside China tripku, I went to Japan (Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and
Nagoya) and Bangkok respectively. So my travel bugs are still
biting :D

Indeed.. hopefully there'll be a solution by Monday.. Don't let it spoil your weekend =) (And practice redirecting screams to the IT Dept =P)

Just back not long ago from Shanghai & Taishan, China tripku;
Have been to 3 different countries within 2 months span :p
